Agata Bonenberg is a Director of Institute of the Institute of Interior Design and Full Professor at the Faculty of Architecture, Poznan University of Technology, partner in EcoArch Studio Bonenberg. Since 2014 teaching at Scuola di Architettura e Società and Architettura Urbanistica Ingegneria delle Costruzioni at Politecnico di Milano. She is a visiting professor at Chongqing Jiaotong University in China. In her professional career she worked for architectural practices throughout Germany, Australia, Scotland and Italy, including renowned Renzo Piano Building Workshop.

Major research achievements include leading a research grant „Media Space Architecture”. In 2013 awarded by the Rector of Poznan University of Technology for outstanding results in research. Her recent scientific interest was focused on universal design in interior design and the project of Modular Cupboard with Mobile Internal Units received a Gold Medal in Recognition of Innovative Excellence at INPEX Innovation Exhibition, USA. Her interests are painting, drawing and photography.
